BUSINESS: IN SEASON WITH GOD

Walk in step with the God of Eternity, and the life-cycles and seasons of your business and your clients will always be fruitful — even when it is dry and barren.

Everything starts as a seed, including businesses and business relationships.

Different seeds need different things: some need to be broadcasted (a farming term), and some need to be planted. One requires tons of seed. The other requires depth and intimacy with the soil.

Different seeds also require different processing at harvest: some harvests need crushing, and others need threshing.

Applying the success principles of an internet marketer to a massage therapy business will likely not produce the same results. One of those requires a quality of trust that the other does not. Operating your business like you are still a bachelor after you have been married for years will likely impact the quality your home-life.

The question is:

Are you tending to the seeds of your business and your client relationships according to their actual needs? Or are you following a lifeless script handed to you by the marketing professionals of the world?

Are you moving in business according to the season you are actually in? Or are you relying on past victories to plow through today’s trials?

If you have tried the advice of marketing and business gurus… only to find no success in your business — or have found success but with a looming sense of dying on the inside while “chewing glass and staring into the void” — it is time to look to the One who is wonderful in counsel, excellent in guidance, and gives life and life abundantly:

“Give ear and hear my voice, listen and hear my speech. Does the plowman keep plowing all day to sow? Does he keep turning his soil and breaking the clods? When he has leveled its surface, does he not sow the black cummin and scatter the cummin, plant the wheat in rows, the barley in the appointed place, and the spelt in its place? For He instructs him in right judgment, his God teaches him. For the black cummin is not threshed with a threshing sledge, nor is a cartwheel rolled over the cummin; but the black cummin is beaten out with a stick, and the cummin with a rod. Bread flour must be ground; therefore he does not thresh it forever, break it with his cartwheel, or crush it with his horsemen. This also comes from the Lord of hosts, who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance.” —Isaiah 28:23-29

When you walk in step with the God of Eternity, the life-cycles and seasons of your business and your clients will always be fruitful — even when it is dry and barren.

Regardless of industry, you will leave with:
• Clarity of your current season of business and how to rightly relate with it

• Key indicators to discern ripeness in leads & client relationships
• Clarity of what decision you need to make next to impact your bottom line
• Clarity of which current opportunities to pursue and which ones to leave
• Healthy follow-up methods for warm, cool, and cold leads
